There are probably a lot of hats we can talk about.  But the ooh la la hat I’m talking about in this blog is the fedora hat – but I might talk about the others in future blogs here.

Going back, I’ve been seeing fedora hats almost anywhere and I have the gut feeling that I’ll be seeing these hats up until winter is over.   A lot of actresses have been seen wearing fedora hats with just about any wardrobe: pants, shorts, dresses, skirts.  Similarly, fedora hats can match any look too – casual, formal, business and so on.

The Jeggings Fad

I had this uber close friend, Gemma, who I often see wearing either tights or leggings paired up in a loose top or dress.  She often says that she feels comfortable wearing them than showing off her legs.

A little tribute to Soccer

My little tribute has something to do with my domain. Well, sports isn’t just running or hitting that ball (a lot more ACTION to it).  But, you have to grasp a fashion sense. A perfect example – DAVID BECKHAM.  Does it ring a bell?  Of course it does!  Anyways, to my fashion gals who are not so into sports unless it’s about sports’ outfits, he is an English footballer that made his debut at 21.  And to cut this short story so short, he’s married to one of the SPICE GIRLS – POSH Victoria Beckham.  That’s it, we all now recognize him!

I have this friend, Dmitri, who is so captivated to soccer and probably Beckham, and yes, he plays the game himself. I can find him gearing up in soccer apparels most of the time.  As to the apparels, it either comes in club or national teams under different brands.

Though I would like to see more for women, sporting clothes similar to Beckham’s is likely for men since they are afforded more options to choose from.

The Holloween Fashion

Halloween spells P-A-R-T-Y!

It is time to dress up and enjoy the night away.  Unlike when we were little, my friends and I were knocking at the doors of our neighbors for some trick or treats our moms had organized for us.  But oh, I still love to remember my princess outfit in glittery white.  It was endearingly cute!

I find it arduous to resist violet hues. Almost certainly it is brought by my clandestine fancy to become royalty since I was little. I wanted to be like Princess Di and meet a prince of my own. Such a child-like feeling, and I’m not even putting it behind me.  I can be royal in my own ways.

When I wrote the blog entitled – Wrapped with a Hip Coat, I truly mean it that I’m not into Coats especially the thick ones, unless I badly needed to wear one. Yet, that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t try the other options of layering clothes this Fall to Winter months.

Yes to the WIDE Pants!

If you stayed long nights watching tv fashion shows, you will straight away notice that a lot of wide pants were shown.  Some were made of soft fabrics while others were cargo type of wide pants.  Variety of vibrant colors was also modeled and some stayed at basic neutral for a more classic style.

Well, even if wide pants are in rage this 2010, we must be familiar with how to wear them since wide leg pants aren’t created equal.  You should as well try wearing them to see how the fabric falls on your legs.  Also, look for pants that are fitted at the hips part for this will actually help in keeping your figure from getting lost in the fabric.  Next, dress in the wide legged pants with something fitted at the top to give emphasis on your upper body as well as your waist part.  You can also add belts or long jewelries at your neck for a complete ensemble.

For a more modern look, you can pair it with shoes such as wedges or pumps.
